engine has been totally re-tuned for a stronger delivery low-to-midrange
torque and a breathtaking surge of acceleration and musclebike roll-on
performance. For more comfortable in-town riding, the engine has also
been tuned for smoother, more linear low-end response that ramps quickly
up to a furious peak for ultimate riding fun.
Honda’s hottest fully programmed fuel injection system features 4-hole injectors installed in 26mm throttle bodies for a sharp yet smooth rush of low-to-midrange power that springs to life the very instant the throttle is cracked opened. This system also helps keep emissions low for performance that’s just as clean as it is exciting.
The Hornet 900 stays well within the limits of current emissions
regulations with a pollution-reducing Air Induction system complementing
the high efficiency of its PGM-FI fuel injection system by ensuring more
complete combustion of exiting exhaust gases.
